Avery Smith Design, formed in 1993, is a multidisciplinary design firm engaged in broad range of two- and three-dimensional graphic design projects.

The firm has a long history of successful work in environmental graphic design encompassing wayfinding, exhibit design, themed sculptural elements, and architectural signage. Avery Smith Design also has extensive experience in two-dimensional design, including the design of communications, corporate identity programs, and promotional items for print and digital media. Team members Eileen Avery, a graphic designer, Michael Smith, an art coordinator, researcher, and project manager, and Sharrie Lee, an interior designer and project manager, have collaborated on projects for over 20 years.

The firm’s design philosophy is to develop unique solutions based on the specific parameters of each project. We do not believe that one style fits all clients, instead our solutions are tailored to address specific needs. This means that the end result is perfectly suited to the project and client.

Typically our services consist of the following phases: research, preliminary concepts, design development, construction documentation and implementation support. These are adjusted and amended according to the nature of each project.
